The first episode of The WiseGuys, ‘WHACKER 3000’ has only been on line for a few days and I’m happy to report that we are getting quite a few hits and all the initial feedback has been positive. With that said, I would like to thank some of the many people, in no particular order, that helped in this process. First there are my neighbors Richard Sarkis, who let us use his house as a backdrop and Brian Podgorski, who was nice enough to be in one of the vignettes with his wonderful dog Cody. Then there was Leslie Gamero and Tou U who came out and provided the lighting for one of our night shoots. Plus Matt Allen and Bruce Barr both get my thanks for the wonderful job of designing the graphics and The WiseGuys web site. I need to thank Bobbi McRae from Hollywood Bob’s Movie Cars for the hot muscle car we used. Then there is Jerry Anderson who was instrumental in getting the VFW Post in Chatsworth for one of our locations. Finally, I would like to thank the actors: J. Anthony McCarthy (‘Big’ Pauley), Melinda Ratner (Angela), Susan Featherly (Trudy), Eric O’Brien, Jay Gerig, Jerry Anderson and Bobbi McRae for all their time and talent. Last but not least, I like to thank Robert Campbell, who not only ran the camera but spent countless hours editing this episode. All in all a fine job by everyone involved. We are now looking into entering this episode in some of the Comedy Film Festivals that are coming up. So keep watching and if you haven’t already done so, subscribe to our channel on YouTube and stayed tuned for more of The WiseGuys in Episode #2: ‘WHACKER 6000’.
